HistoryMaple Capital Partners (“Maple”), founded in 2003, is a private equity firm focusing on middle market opportunities across Europe and Asia.During the period from 2003 to 2006, Maple partnered with an AIM-listed London-based corporate advisory firm covering Chinese companies.

The partnership ended in 2006 when a Renminbi-denominated equity investment firm was incorporated.It was primarily focused on late-stage private equity opportunities in China.

Maple Asset Management Limited and Maple Fund, were set up in 2008.Maple Elite China Fund was set up as a segregated portfolio of a Swiss fund of hedge funds.Since 2009, Maple began investing in Chinese companies and taking them public in European capital markets. Since 2010, Maple began investing in European assets alongside co-investment partners from China.
